A Brazilian keratin treatment smooths frizz, reduces volume and gives hair a mirror shine. With the right products and a little patience, you can get a salon-quality result at home. Here is how to do it with the Bling Professional kit.

What you need

• Step 1 clarifying shampoo
• Step 2 Brazilian keratin
• A hair dryer and a fine-tooth comb
• A straightener that reaches at least 230 °C
• Heat protector spray for later styling

Step 1: clarify

Apply the clarifying shampoo, massage gently and leave on for 3 minutes. Rinse and repeat, this time leaving it on for 5 minutes on fine or blond hair and 10 minutes on thick or difficult hair. Rinse thoroughly. This acidic shampoo opens the cuticle so the keratin can penetrate.

Step 2: apply the keratin

Remove excess water with a towel and blow-dry the hair to about 70%. Shake the keratin well, then apply it from 1 cm below the roots to the ends, section by section, and spread it with a fine-tooth comb. Leave on for 20 minutes.

Step 3: dry and seal

Remove the excess product with an extra-fine comb, then blow-dry the hair completely on a cool or warm setting. Divide the hair into thin sections and pass the straightener 5 times at the roots, 5 times to mid-lengths and 5 times to the ends.

• Fine or blond hair: no more than 180 °C
• Medium hair: 210 °C
• Thick or difficult hair: 230 °C

Safety tips
