What is the difference between Brazilian keratin and B.tox?

Brazilian keratin (Step 2) smooths the hair and reduces volume: it is left on for 20 minutes, then sealed with a straightener. B.tox is a treatment that mainly reduces frizz and restores hair mass and shine, with a 15-minute application. Both start with the Step 1 clarifying shampoo.

Do I really need the Step 1 clarifying shampoo?

Yes. Its acidic formula opens the hair cuticle so the treatment can penetrate. It is recommended before every keratin or B.tox treatment, which is why it is included in our keratin kits.

How do I apply the keratin treatment?

1. Wash twice with the Step 1 clarifying shampoo (3 minutes, then 5 to 10 minutes depending on hair type) and rinse fully.
2. Towel-dry and blow-dry the hair to about 70%.
3. Apply the Step 2 keratin 1 cm from the roots to the ends, comb through and leave on for 20 minutes.
4. Remove the excess with a fine-tooth comb and blow-dry 100% on a cool or warm setting.
5. Work in thin sections with a straightener: 5 passes at the roots, 5 to mid-lengths and 5 to the ends.

What straightener temperature should I use?

Fine or blond hair: no more than 180 °C. Medium hair: 210 °C. Thick or difficult hair: 230 °C. Our ionic straightener goes up to 260 °C and lets you choose the right setting.

How do I make my result last longer?

Use a sulfate-free shampoo and a nourishing mask, and protect your hair from heat. Our Post-Keratin Home Care Duo (shampoo and 2-in-1 mask) and the Heat Protector spray are made for this.

Mini kit or salon kit?

The Mini Kit (2 x 100 ml) is ideal to try the treatment at home or to travel. The salon kit (2 x 1 L) is made for hairdressers and regular users.

Is it suitable for all hair types?

Our keratin and B.tox are designed for all hair types. For coloured or very damaged hair, we advise a strand test first. Avoid contact with the eyes and keep out of reach of children.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?
